The New Asa Messer elementary school project will replace the current PreK-4 school with a new four-story structure comprising 131,955 SF, hosting around 1,000 PreK-8 students This will allow the consolidation of the former Asa Messer elementary and West Broadway middle school student bodies into one building.
The creation of the new building will allow for purpose-built pre-kindergarten classrooms, separate learning areas and bathrooms for different student age groups, updated technology and safety features and removal of the hazardous building materials existing within the current building.
Asa Messer is on track for NE CHPS certification
