J. Henry Higgins Middle School


The New J. Henry Higgins Middle school in Peabody, MA, is a 226,000SF masonry and metal panel state of the art building containing a new 500 seat auditorium, a 500 seat cafeteria, gymnasium, classrooms and administrative spaces.

The new school was constructed adjacent to the existing middle school. Once the new construction was complete, the existing school was demolished allowing for the construction of new playing fields with additional site improvements.

The new school was constructed to meet or exceed the new standards under the Commonwealth of Massachusetts sustainable building codes. The project achieved LEED Silver certification.
